Aggressive solvent based acrylic based pressure-sensitive adhesive combined with the conformability / flexibility of polypropylene film provides superior sealing, protective benefits, and ease of handling that are the characteristics of a high quality product. Designed and engineered primarily for permanent seaming and sealing of joints in foam insulation and other sheathing materials, to secure lap edges in house wraps and other vapor barrier, repair rips and tears in roll and batt insulation, construction films and membranes. Eliminates drafts around window and door openings. Superior bonding at sub-zero (as low as - 40 C/F) or at elevated temperatures. Resistant to mold growth & high humidity. Acrylic adhesive combined with inorganic polypropylene film provides the long lasting closure / seal. |
| Recommended Uses : |

Mult-Purpose construction Tape to prevent air infiltration, provide vapor barrier protection, and enhance appearance. Surfaces to be clean / dry. Do NOT apply to wet surfaces (facing or wood). May be hand or machine applied. Lap intersecting or joined tapes a minimum 50.8mm (2"). Tape should be centered over the joint or other area to be sealed. But Joints should not exceed 10mm (0.3937") in width. |
