Unsintered virgin PTFE. This tape self-lubricates joints, making them easy to assemble & disassemble. It extends the fatigue life of sealed connections & eliminates system contamination common with messy liquid and paste sealants. A thread seal tape which is virtually chemically inert, non-absorbent, non-flammable, & totally maintenance free. It will withstand pressures from a hard vacuum to 10,000 psi. This superior tape meets the requirements of MIL-T-27730A, and has earned the UL Mark of Safety. Its unlimited shelf-life allows pre-wrapping and storage of thredaed parts. |
