3M 5490 PTFE Film Tape

3M 5490 PTFE Film Tape is a 3.7 mil gray PTFE extruded film tape with silicone adhesive. 3M PTFE Extruded Film Tape 5490, PTFE extruded film with silicone adhesive, provides an exceptionally slick surface when applied and resists curling during unwind. Chemical resistant surface for sealing and masking. 3M PTFE Film Tape 5490 uses an extruded polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) film backing. This tape offers an extremely low coefficient of friction which, in combination with a pressure sensitive silicone adhesive, creates a smooth, non-stick surface over a variety of substrates to assist in the movement of materials in many types of lay-flat applications.
