3M Repulpable Double Coated Splicing Tape 405 is designed primarily for overlap splicing of uncoated grades of paper. A light-weight tissue coated on both sides with a firm light green adhesive, supplied on a high strength non-repulpable liner. 405 tape is a 3 mil (.075 mm) product utilized primarily for overlap splicing of uncoated paper grades. The firm adhesive resists oozing and/or bleed through yet offers high shear strength.
