This 2.5 mil (.064 mm) tape can be used for splicing of many light-weight coated papers, particularly for coated gravure papers. It performs well in many other finished splice applications, even with alkaline coatings and with stearate sizing, yet resists squeeze out and slippage. The adhesive penetrates the coating to bond to the base sheet. FDA compliant.

Designed primarily for overlap splicing of coated grades of paper. A light-weight tissue coated on both sides with a blue, repulpable adhesive. Recommended for LWC papers.
