Foil Tapes are ideal for heating and cooling jobs involving thermally conductive, heat- and light-reflective surfaces. Foil Tapes are metal-backed tapes which are made with industrial-strength adhesives, so they can take on the toughest jobs. Aluminum foil tapes are used on seams and joints of fiberglass and aluminum backed duct board. Coated with a rubber based pressure sensitive adhesive, they provide an excellent barrier to vapor and conform to irregular surfaces. Aluminum foil tape may be used for shielding and covering thermal insulation. As the foil tapes are resistant to oil and acids, as well as temperature resistant from -40°C to 160°C, they are ideal for joining and sealing of thermal insulation, ducts and pipes. Copper Foil Tapes features high tensile copper foil which is extremely malleable for shielding, flexible flat conductors, printed circuit boards and more.
